Handylite - A portable, solar powered luminaire suitable for domestic or outdoor use, and as a reliable emergency standby light for power failures or natural disasters. Lightweight and compact, the Handylite is uniquely self contained and adaptable; it may be worn, stood or hung, is easily carried in a pocket and requires no replacement batteries or bulbs. Light is provided on an automatic dusk to dawn cycle, the Handylite switching on when darkness falls and providing illumination until morning, when it switches off and recharges by day. Carried in a vehicle or vessel the Handylite makes an ideal emergency torch, providing local light for accidents or breakdowns and enabling a stranded vehicle to be left if necessary.
